King Garran of the Dark Elves gets a little surprise in this scene deleted

the original version of Seduced by Magic
The king grinned. “If you can change any part of me, my lady, you can take the D’Danann with you.”
Fine. She’d do exactly that. Copper bit her lower lip. She furrowed her brows in concentration. He was wearing black, and he had pointed ears. He’d make a perfect bat. This would definitely be gray magic, but he deserved it.
She straightened her arm, keeping her wand pointed at the Drow king, and began chanting,
This Drow of flesh so warm,
Shall be changed to a more fitting form
The power resides here now with me,
With these words I set the spell free.
All drawn with this wand will become real,
The Drow transformed under magical seal.
Gold flame burst from her wand and wrapped itself around Garran’s body. A look of shock crossed his features. His is body began to shrink. Something black hovered in the air in his place. Then a bat began to flap around the ceiling of the chamber.
Copper’s jaw dropped. That had never worked before. And she’d really only meant to give him bat ears.
Tiernan’s laughter echoed through the chamber. Garran flapped around the room and dove at Tiernan’s head, grasped the tie and ripped it from his hair. Tiernan’s hair sprung straight up and the Drow to either side of him vacillated between laughing at him and looking concerned for their king who was now attacking Tiernan’s blond afro.
Copper didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or both. Instead she concentrated on another spell and pointed her wand at Garran the bat.
This bat of flesh so cold,
Shall be returned to the shape of old
The power resides here now with me,
With these words I set the spell free.
All drawn with this wand will become real,
The bat transformed under magical seal.
Tiernan ducked just as gold light flashed across the room and struck the bat. Garran was suddenly floundering in the air. He landed hard against Tiernan’s back, slamming the D’Danann hard against the granite floor.
Tiernan groaned and shook his head as he tried to push himself up and to shove the king off.
Garran rubbed his hand over his face as if checking to make sure he really had his face again.
Copper grinned. She’d done it! She’d really transformed a being into another creature and managed to turn him back into his normal form again. Maybe living in Otherworld gave her the power to do that spell. She doubted it was something she could do at home—in her real home of San Francisco.
But damn, that would surely get her expelled from the D’Anu. That would definitely be considered gray witchcraft.
Tiernan pushed Garran off and the men got to their feet, both glaring at one another. They began pacing each other in a circle like wild beasts.
“Oh, cut it out.” Copper marched up to the males and stood between them. She pointed her wand at one and then the other. “Next one who makes a move gets zapped into an ant.”
